LEARN TO SKATE
BSC is proud to offer Skate Canada's flagship learn to skate program that is designed for beginners of all ages. With a focus on fun, participation and basic skill development "CanSkate" has a fresh new look. CanSkate is taught in group lesson format by Skate Canada professional coaches assisted by trained program assistants. The delivery focuses on continuous movement and uses station rotation and circuits to teach Agility, Balance, and Control. Skaters achieving their Stage 5 badge have the skills necessary to begin figure skating, speed skating, and/or hockey.
Canskate
Ages 5-14 | 50min Sessions
Skaters must be five years of age by the start of the session. The goal is to develop stronger basic skills that pertain to figure skating, hockey, ringette, and speed skating. CSA approved hockey helmets are mandatory for all CanSkaters up to and including Stage 5. Face mask is optional.

Adult
Ages: Adult
This program is designed to support both beginners and experienced skaters. The goal is to introduce adults to skating and support growth through progressive skating skills development. Sessions may be divided by proficiency level. Private lessons may be available upon request. CSA approved hockey helmets are recommended for beginners.
